There is not a day that
goes by
that I don't think of
you.
I remember as little
girls the fun
we had along with the
rivalry.
The wonderful hair cut
you gave me.
Although Mom didn't
think it
was so keen ...
(smile)
Hmmm... Were you really
trying to
make me look
"pretty"?
I think of how we used
to roller skate
down the city
sidewalks.
Making all kinds of
racket with
our "metal" wheels and
ruining
our shoes with the
metal
clamp on skates complete
with "key".
Sitting on the front
step of
Margaret's Corner
Grocers,
eating our "over
flowing" bag
of "penny
candy"
The big "red wax
lips"
and candy dots on
paper.
Oh yes, there did come a
time
of separation between
us.
You moved into
womanhood,
while I lagged behind in
adolescence,
and our interests
changed.
This was a normal life
changing event.
But, I missed you so in
those
few short years of
absence
so much that you will
never know.
Then life's circle
caught up again.
You got married and I
was dating.
Needing important "tips"
...
But, most of all your
guidance.
We raised our children
together.
Enjoying backyard
Bar-B-Q's,
Family gatherings and
wonderful
Holiday
Dinners.
There is not enough
space on
this page or any other
page
to list all of the fond
memories
I have when
I Think Of
You.
It has been five years
now since
you have left, and the
pain of
the loss is as fresh as
if it
were
yesterday.
I miss
you!!!
Love, Sis ...

Sisters Heart to
Heart
From the time that we
were little, I knew you’d always be Not just a loving sister But a
caring friend to me.
A shoulder I could cry
on, A helping hand in times of need, A cheerleader to lift me up, My
angel in both word and deed.
We told each other
secrets; We giggled and we cried. We shared our joys and sorrows-- We
were always side by side.
We have a very special
bond; I knew it from the start. You’ll have my love forever-- We’re
sisters, heart to heart.

"There's a special kind
of freedom sisters enjoy.
Freedom to share
innermost thoughts,
to ask a favor, to show
their true feelings.
The freedom to simply be
themselves."
