If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,

I would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say good-bye.

You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow.

The brightest star in heaven
It glows with sparkling light
Shining on his loved ones
Forever in his sight

Our hearts so deeply saddened
That he cannot be here
Sharing our life daily
We miss his love sincere

I know that he is watching
Loving from afar
Knowing all our special thoughts
As we wish upon his star

For we are all his loved ones
Who fill the earth below
Looking up to heaven
As he shines on us below

No other star in heaven
Gives more than radiant light
That shines down from a special place
That makes our heart's ignite

So rest in peace dear Angel
For we shall always be
